Indonesian e-commerce Tokopedia announces cooperation with logistics company J&T
In January 18, 2017, the logistics company J&T Express officially announced that it has cooperated with the Indonesian C2C e-commerce platform Tokopedia. In this cooperation, Tokopedia users will have a choice of logistics. Before that, Tokopedia had been working with a number of logistics companies, including JNE, RPX, to Go-Jek, and GrabExpress. J&T Express was founded in 2015. It was co founded by OPPO CEOJet Lee and OPPO partner Tony Chen. At the very beginning, J&T Express has nearly 108 branches in Indonesia, and now it has more than 900 catties. Compared with other logistics companies in Indonesia, J&T Express has an advantage of free home picking, without the minimum quantity and weight requirements. Its competitor, JNE, has also launched a similar service, but has a certain demand for the number. Before working with Tokopedia, J&T Express has cooperated with the e-commerce platform, Blibli, Berrybenka, Blanja, Bhinneka, and express cabinet PopBox.
